Hello once again, family and friends!
I want to personally thank everyone for the support I have received for my upcoming trip to Haiti! There was an OVERWHELMING response to my request for donations and I am thrilled to share with you that my entire trip (and then some) was paid for! I am amazed by your generosity and astonished at how God has placed it on your hearts to give!!
Ten days from now I will be uprooted from the extreme comforts of the States and transported to a poverty-stricken world unfamiliar to most; a world that will require me to be stretched in ways yet unknown. My fears for the most part have subsided and I am going into this an open slate, excited to see how God will work in and through me!
I will be packing my personal items and donations for the people of Haiti within the next few days. Each of us going on the trip will be checking two large suitcases that will consist of toothpaste, antibacterial ointments, childrens' vitamins, jump ropes, etc. If you are interested in donating items of the sort, please contact me for a complete list of needs. If you have a large suitcase in good condition you could donate, please let me know.
